Progress

Hello friends,

Progress is being made on the original Deer Creek Mercantile building.

We are rebuilding a portion of the exterior wall from the basement to the 2nd story.  We are happy to say that the basement portion of the wall is complete!  We just have to build the main floor & second story wall now.

It may not look like much progress but rest assured, it is!  

We are almost to the point where we can start working on the porch, windows, & interior. 

To quote Jerry Reed (Smokey & The Bandit) "We have a long way to go & a short time to get there.."

We are going to get as much accomplished as we can get & we hope to have restoration complete by the end of March.
